Bears and Webelos,

If anyone is interested in attending Webelos Resident Camp, the forms just became available and are attached.  Trevor and I have gone the last couple years and have had a blast!  It gives the boys a great taste of what it will be like at summer camp as a Boy Scout.  Trevor also earned several of his adventure pins while at camp.

A biology teacher at Andrew HS has invited local scouts to a free workshop on Backyard Birds on Monday, May 2nd from 5-6:30 pm.  This year's theme is native bird awareness and will feature expert speakers about bird calls, bird gardening, and bird monitoring programs.  There will also be hands on demos and activities for all ages...and giveaways!  She said the scouts in the past have really enjoyed the workshop.

There is a link to register and a flyer for the event.  I will be going with my kids...hope to see you there!
