Ronald McDonald House (Sept 4th)

Posted by admin on Aug 27 2016 - 8:31am

On Sunday, September 4 from 1pm-4pm, none of our Dens have signed up to go to the Ronald McDonald House for the cookie baking/card making.

Rather than cancel, it would be wonderful if there are any Scouts and their families who would like to attend and represent Pack 372.

Key Updates on Popcorn Sale

After attending the popcorn meeting, I found out there are a few changes that have been made to the popcorn sale this year. I have listed them below.

Religious Coordinators Needed

Posted by admin on Aug 27 2016 - 8:26am

Every year we like to offer the scouts the opportunity to earn their religious emblem. We are looking for parents to coordinate these awards. We usually have a Catholic coordinator and a Protestant coordinator. The workbooks are completed at home and then the coordinator collects them and arranges for the books to be signed by his/her Pastor. Coordinators in the past have also arranged for a church tour at their own parish for the boys working on their award. Once the books are signed, the coordinator sends in the applications and orders the medals.

Open House Recruiters Needed

Posted by admin on Aug 27 2016 - 8:25am
Every fall we ask for volunteers to attend each school's open house to recruit new scouts.  Without new scouts, we would not have a thriving Pack.  It is helpful to have a few volunteers at each school so everyone has a chance to visit their classrooms.  It is also a wonderful experience for the Scout and gives them a boost of confidence and a feeling of importance.
